In 2004, County Judge Terry Johnson founded Show of Support in Midland, TX. What started off as Terry taking a few wounded Veterans hunting, evolved over the next 20 years into a large city-wide event. In 2004, County Judge Terry Johnson founded Show of Support in Midland, TX. What started off as Terry taking a few wounded Veterans hunting, evolved over the next 20 years into a large city-wide event. Supported by hundreds of volunteers and numerous generous donors In Midland, Show of Support bring in wounded Veterans in from all over the country to give them a taste of good ole' West Texas hospitality and appreciation.
In 2024, now run by local veterans, Show of Support expanded their mission to year-round operation consisting of weekly events.
